Covid-19 Vaccination Clinics in Puerto Vallarta Confirmed

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – The dates for the vaccination clinics in Puerto Vallarta that were tentatively scheduled for next week have been confirmed. On Wednesday, the head of the eighth health region, Jaime Álvarez Zayas, announced that the sessions will be from Monday, January 10th through Thursday the 13th, divided into two stages.

On Monday, January 10 and Tuesday, January 11, first doses will be applied to minors from 14 to 17 years of age and second doses will be given to teens ages 15-17 who received their first shot in October 2021.

Those who are to be given the first dose should bring their CURP to verify their age, since the national platform does not yet allow them to register, and must be accompanied by an adult. Those who are going for their second dose, must bring proof of the first vaccination and also be accompanied by an adult.

On Wednesday, January 12 and Thursday, January 13, the application of vaccines will begin for those over 18 years of age who received the first dose of AstraZeneca in October 2021, in addition, third doses (booster shots) for adults over 60 years of age will be administered.

In these cases, it will be essential to bring a new copy of the registration form, proof of your first vaccine(s) if applicable, and an official ID for adults over 60 years of age. Registration forms can be obtained on the federal mivacuna.salud.gob.mx website.

All vaccinations will be administered at the La Lija Sports Unit in Colonia Lomas del Coapinole, which will be open each day from 9 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon.
