Puerto Vallarta Mayor to Present 100-Day Report at Los Arcos

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – On Saturday, January 18 at 5:00 pm, Puerto Vallarta’s Mayor Luis Munguía will present a report on the first 100 days of his administration at Los Arcos del Malecón. This important event will highlight the progress made since the start of his term on October 1, 2024, with a focus on key achievements and future plans.

A key focus of the report will be the significant investment in public works. Mayor Munguía will highlight the allocation of over 350 million pesos to infrastructure projects aimed at improving the city’s appearance and enhancing the quality of life for its residents.

Furthermore, the report will address the recent improvements in waste management. The introduction of Red Ambiental, with its modern fleet and innovative third-party collection system, marks a new era in waste disposal. This initiative, coupled with the active participation of residents, is paving the way for a cleaner and more sustainable Puerto Vallarta.

Mayor Munguía will also discuss the successful efforts to secure substantial funding from the federal and state governments. This includes a significant investment package exceeding 2 billion pesos for projects such as a new electric transport system for the main avenue, the construction of a road node in Las Juntas, and the development of a new pier in the city center.

The well-being of children has been a priority for the administration. Mayor Munguía recently distributed tablets to elementary school students, providing them with valuable access to technology and fostering a love of learning.

Citizen security remains a top concern. To bolster public safety, the mayor recently equipped public security officers and the Tourist Police with new patrol vehicles, razers, and bicycles, enhancing their ability to safeguard the city’s residents and its visitors.

The mayor invites the community to join him at this event in the city center to learn about the accomplishments of his administration in these first 100 days and the exciting plans for Puerto Vallarta’s future. He believes that informed and engaged citizens are essential to creating a better city for all.
