Puerto Vallarta is set to welcome 23 international tourist cruise arrivals this month, as reported by the National Port System Administration (Asipona). The cruise schedule includes various types of arrivals, such as single, double, and triple visits, as well as one overnight stay.
The month kicked off with the arrival of the Sapphire Princess on April 1, followed by the Carnival Panorama and the Ruby Princess on April 4, marking the first double arrival. On April 6, the MSC Explora 1 and the Zaandam made their way into port, with the latter staying overnight.
As for the upcoming weeks, the cruise traffic is expected to vary. This week will see two single arrivals: the Volendam and the Discovery Princess. However, the third week is anticipated to be particularly busy with two triple arrivals on April 16 and April 19, each consisting of three cruise ships. The following week, eight cruise ships are expected to dock in the port, including two double arrivals.
The fourth week of April will witness two more double arrivals on April 23 and April 24, along with a single arrival on April 27. Finally, the fifth week will conclude with three arrivals, including a double arrival on April 30.
Overall, Puerto Vallarta is poised for a significant influx of international cruise tourists throughout the month of April.
