PVR Asian Festival at Maritime Terminal, Nov. 14-15

Puerto Vallarta is set to host a major celebration of Asian culture, cuisine, and modern trends during the upcoming mid-November holiday weekend. On November 14 and 15, Maritime Terminal’s Pier 2 will transform into a waterfront hub of activities running from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm each day.

The event aims to bring together local residents, tourists, and pop-culture enthusiasts for a two-day immersion into traditions and contemporary entertainment from across Asia.

Food takes center stage at the festival, highlighted by two major culinary competitions. Local chefs and restaurants will compete for the title of Best Sushi in the Bay 2026, which comes with an official trophy and a 5,000 MXN cash prize.

A separate competition will test regional cooks to determine the finest bowl of ramen across Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay. Attendees can explore these featured dishes along with a wide variety of other regional Asian street foods and specialties.

Beyond the food, visitors can dive into a busy schedule of stage entertainment, martial arts demonstrations, and hands-on cultural workshops. Music and gaming will feature heavily throughout the venue, with K-pop performances and dedicated gaming areas keeping the energy high. An on-site Asian Market will host vendors selling traditional goods, trending merchandise, and unique pop-culture collectibles, while special guest creators line up to meet fans.

Cosplay plays a massive role in the weekend’s lineup, featuring dedicated sections like Cosplay Alley alongside official competitions. The schedule includes a National Cosplay Contest showcasing high-level craftsmanship, as well as a pet cosplay event open to attendees’ pets.

Tickets are available now, offering options for single-day entry or full two-day access. Early buyers can secure presale rates at 160 MXN for a single day or 200 MXN for a full pass, plus service fees. Standard pricing for the final sales phase increases to 200 MXN for single-day passes and 250 MXN for full-weekend access. Because gate sales are not guaranteed, organizers encourage visitors to secure their passes in advance and check event details at festivalespvr.com.

Whether you are a devoted fan of anime and K-pop, a foodie hunting for the bay’s top culinary creations, or simply looking for an engaging way to enjoy the long weekend, Maritime Terminal will be the place to be.

With two full days of high-energy entertainment and diverse cultural activities, the PVR Asian Festival offers something for attendees of all ages. Grab your tickets online early to lock in presale rates and ensure your spot at one of the season’s most unique gatherings in Puerto Vallarta.
