Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Oficina de Proyectos Culturales (OPC) and Centro Universitario de la Costa (CUC) invite you to a discussion with artist Joao Rodríguez and architect Arturo Dávila where they will speak about the relevance of archives, not only as a means to preserve history, but also as an object that has been explored by artists in the history of art.
Artists like Marcel Duchamp, Man Ray, Fluxus and, more recently, art collectives in Documenta 15, have created art from archives.
