Vallarta Grill Festival 2026 to Support Pasitos de Luz

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico -The aroma of sizzling meats and smoky hardwood is set to fill the air at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center this fall. On November 7 and 8, 2026, the Vallarta Grill Festival returns for a full weekend dedicated to the art of open-flame cooking. Doors open at noon both days, giving food enthusiasts plenty of time to explore a world of flavors before food service runs from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

This year’s lineup goes far beyond standard backyard barbecuing. Over 150 top chefs and industry experts will showcase legendary grilling styles from around the globe. Attendees can sample everything from the richly seasoned cuts typical of Northern Mexico to traditional Argentinian asado and slow-smoked Texas BBQ. Alongside the endless tasting opportunities, visitors can watch live masterclasses, interactive demonstrations, and heated pitmaster showdowns.

Drinks receive just as much attention as the food during the festival’s premier bartending clash, Mixólogo de Fuego. This high-stakes competition brings Mexico’s finest bartenders together to craft signature cocktails under pressure. Judges will evaluate each competitor based on technique, flavor balance, creative presentation, and how skillfully they incorporate fire into their mixology creations.

Designed as a complete family outing, the convention grounds will feature continuous live music and a designated children’s zone packed with kid-specific games and activities. General admission tickets cost $300 MXN per day or $400 MXN for a full weekend pass, covering entry to all food stands, stage shows, and culinary competitions. Children under 12 enter for free when accompanied by an adult ticket holder.

For guests looking for an upgraded experience, VIP passes offer exclusive access to a private area with complimentary food and drinks, premium service, and prime views of the festival. VIP passes are priced at $3,000 MXN for one day or $5,000 MXN for both days. All tickets are available online at TheGrillFestival.com.

Best of all, enjoying the weekend directly benefits a worthy local cause. A portion of the proceeds from VIP ticket sales supports Pasitos de Luz, a non-profit day care facility in Puerto Vallarta dedicated to assisting children with special needs. The center supplies essential physical therapy, rehabilitation, loving care, and nutritious meals at no cost to local families, making the festival a delicious way to give back to the community.
