Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – Puerto Vallarta will promote important commercial agreements that will benefit the tourism industry during the 2023 edition of the Vallarta-Nayarit Gala, which is set to take place on February 16 and 17 at the Vidanta business center in Bahía de Banderas.
Over these two days, Puerto Vallarta will promote its air and land connectivity, infrastructure and tourist offer for segments such as sun and sand, romance, gastronomy, LGBTQ+, ecotourism and luxury, among others.
Since this year the state of Nayarit will host the event, organizers are promoting it as ‘Gala Riviera Nayarit & Puerto Vallarta,’ but the goal remains the same – to bring national and international travel wholesalers and tour operators together with Banderas Bay area hotel industry leaders to promote business opportunities.
This year, more than 70 national and international travel wholesalers from the United States, Canada and Spain are expected to participate, along with 100 hotels and other members of the tourism industry in the Banderas Bay region, who will showcase the lodging, experiences and adventures offered by Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit through visits, tours, and special events.
The 2023 Gala Riviera Nayarit & Puerto Vallarta will promote the close to 40,000 hotel rooms in the Banderas Bay region, which translates into an economic benefit for both states.
This important event for the state’s travel and tourism industry will also have special pavilions where the 9 Magical Towns of Jalisco will give attendees a glimpse of their great tourist offer. Another pavilion will highlight Jalisco’s tourist offer and promote mobility through circuits that extend the average stay in Guadalajara, Costalegre and Ribera de Chapala. These cities will also present the range of options available to tourists.
Organized by the Nayarit State Secretary of Tourism, this year’s event is an integral part of that state’s new promotional campaign that aims to enhance tourism in the Riviera Nayarit and expand tourism to the entire state through its cultural and historical offer, including its Magic Towns, Huichol towns, local markets and coffee plantations.
The Secretaries of Tourism of Jalisco and Nayarit; the presidents of the Hotel Associations of both destinations, among other municipal and state authorities are expected to attend the 2023 Gala Riviera Nayarit & Puerto Vallarta inauguration ceremony.
