Puerto Vallarta has once again earned 4 nominations for the 2026 Travvy Awards. Competing in categories honoring top destinations, culinary excellence, tourism promotion, and travel advisor education, the city continues to build on its award-winning reputation.

Puerto Vallarta’s Animal Welfare Department has rescued 146 dogs and cats so far in 2026, including 93 dogs and 53 cats. Of those, 132 have been rehabilitated and placed in homes, reflecting growing involvement in protecting animals and reporting neglect.

Puerto Vallarta will welcome “Michael is Back,” a bilingual Michael Jackson tribute presented by Mosoul Concert Productions at Teatro Vallarta on November 12. The one-night show features live vocals, six musicians, eight dancers and the King of Pop’s iconic hits.
