Puerto Vallarta has been named the world’s top LGBTQ+ travel destination by GayCities readers. The 2026 ranking puts Vallarta ahead of New York, Berlin, and Amsterdam, recognizing its welcoming community, LGBTQ+ scene, sunny climate, and diverse experiences.

Butterflies take center stage at Vallarta Botanical Garden October 3 and 4 as Butterfly Weekend celebrates the region’s peak autumn season. Visitors can explore garden trails, join butterfly safaris, enjoy workshops and discover more about local species.

Puerto Vallarta’s Nacho Daddy will screen Stop Making Sense, the acclaimed Talking Heads concert film, during its Tuesday Happy Hour on September 22. The weekly series combines classic live performances with food, drinks and specials from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
