“Raices de Mexico: Danza Folklorica”

Formed in 2003, Raíces de México is an internationally acclaimed group dedicated to preserving and showcasing Mexican traditions through over 3,500 performances in prestigious venues across Mexico and 16 countries, including Russia, Spain, France, and Argentina. They are the creators of the internationally certified “Vallarta Azteca Festival of International Folklore” and the “National Folkloric Dance Competition in Puerto Vallarta.” Recognized with numerous accolades, they were Mexico’s representatives at the 2021 VI World Folklorica in Russia, received the 2018 Vallarta Award for cultural promotion, and have earned titles such as national champions at the InterCECYTES Cultural Meeting, ten-time state champions, and recipients of the public award for best group at Poland’s 2011 Integration Festival. Their contributions have made them tireless promoters and experts in Mexican folklore.
