Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco – Everyone is invited to attend an open house at the Candy Bar, a new restaurant bar in the Puerto Vallarta Romantic Zone, on Saturday, February 13 from 3-6 pm. The event will offer free food and drinks and a live DJ in the restaurant’s large open air garden with all safety protocols in place.
Serving local classics, US favorites, and candy cocktails, Candy Bar seeks to add a “sweet” touch to dining out in La Zona Romantica. They chose the name “Candy Bar” because it has so many fun similarities to the concept the owners applied to their restaurant.
“This is the concept we decided to have, a fun concept. Candy comes in many shapes, sizes, colors, and flavors and you will find this at Candy Bar & Restaurant. Like candy, we will ever evolve in our delicious food and fun cocktails. Introducing you to flavors that remind you of when you were a child or a flavor from north of the border that you have never experienced! This is what it is all about,” said Larry Hackett, one of the restaurant’s owners.
“Like the restaurant itself, the food is also colorful, and fun,” he added.
With this opening, Candy Bar & Restaurant seeks to add a new and innovative option for dining out in Puerto Vallarta, and the owners invite everyone to come ‘taste the rainbow!’
“We love Puerto Vallarta and we love the local community. That’s why we are respectful and want to be good neighbors, that’s why there are no flashy signs outside our restaurant. We just want to be part of this incredible community.”
Apart from including traditional Mexican food on their menu, they have also added their own colorful touch to American favorites, like their Angus beef mini hamburgers of different colors called “Rainbow Sliders,” for example.
The Candy Bar’s owners and staff invite you to visit them and try the food that they think will make you a fan. “Come taste the rainbow! We know we will be your new favorite place.”
