Ann Talman is an award-winning actor, singer, storyteller, and filmmaker, best known for her Broadway debut alongside Elizabeth Taylor in The Little Foxes, which sparked a lifelong friendship. Her acclaimed cabaret show, The Shadow of Her Smile, directed by Lina Koutrakos with musical direction by Alex Rybeck, is a heartfelt tribute to Taylor, blending personal stories and music. The show has played prestigious venues like 54 Below, Feinstein’s, and The Laurie Beechman Theatre, earning Talman the 2023 MAC Award for Best Female Debut and the 2023 Bistro Award for Outstanding Musical Memoir. Beyond cabaret, her extensive stage and screen credits include The House of Blue Leaves, Some Americans Abroad, Seinfeld, Murphy Brown, Serendipity, and Limitless. She also wrote, starred in, and produced the award-winning documentary Woody’s Order!, based on her solo play about her brother with cerebral palsy. A founding member of The New Group and Naked Angels, Talman continues to share her talents through performance, storytelling, and writing.
