Irish automotive technology provider Aptiv will invest US$40 million in a new factory in El Salto, Jalisco, 29 kilometers from Guadalajara. Though already active in 8 other Mexican states, this will be the company's first factory in Jalisco, and it will be dedicated to the manufacture of spare parts for electric vehicles.
