GAP: March 2023 Passenger Traffic Up 14.2% at 12 Mexican Airports

For March 2023, the total number of terminal passengers at GAP’s 12 Mexican airports increased by 14.2%, compared to the same period in 2022. Guadalajara, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, and Tijuana presented an increase in passenger traffic of 19.1%, 15.4%, 14.6%, and 8.0% respectively, compared to March 2022.

Zacatecas to Unveil Largest Christ Statue in Latin America

The largest statue of Jesus Christ in Mexico and Latin America will be unveiled in Tabasco, Zacatecas on Sunday, April 9, as part of the municipality's 2023 Festival de Ramos. The colossal statue, named 'Cristo de la Paz' stands at 31 meters, a full meter taller than the iconic Cristo Redentor in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
