Coca-Cola Caravan Brings Christmas Cheer to Vallarta

NOV. 26 UPDATE: Coca-Cola has revealed the Christmas Caravan’s schedule and route. The parade will begin at 6:30 pm starting at the corner of Av. Francisco Medina Ascencio and Av. Fluvial Vallarta. It will then travel along Av. De los Grandes Lagos and on to Prisciliano Sanchez before returning to the starting point.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The Coca-Cola Caravan, a beloved Christmas tradition in Mexico, is making its way to Puerto Vallarta this holiday season. According to the official website, the caravan will roll into town on December 13, promising a magical evening for locals and visitors.

While the exact time (some sources say 6:00 pm) and route have yet to be announced, it is anticipated that the parade will travel along the city’s main avenue, culminating at the iconic Malecón. The event will feature holiday-themed floats adorned with thousands of LED lights, festive music, and appearances by Santa Claus and other cherished Christmas characters.

Originating in the 1990s and inspired by a Coca-Cola TV commercial showcasing illuminated trucks gliding through snowy landscapes, the caravan has become a hallmark of the season, bringing joy and unity to communities across North America. Organized by the Mexican Coca-Cola Industry and Grupo Álica, this event celebrates not only the holidays but also the bonds between friends and family.

To ensure a memorable experience, attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure a prime viewing spot along the parade route. Wearing comfortable clothing and bringing a light jacket is recommended, as the evening air can be cool.

Most importantly, this is a family-friendly event, so bring your loved ones and create lasting memories together. Don’t forget your camera to capture the lights, music, and smiles that make the Coca-Cola Caravan a highlight of the Christmas season.

As the Coca-Cola Caravan continues to spread holiday cheer, it reinforces the brand’s enduring connection to Christmas and its ability to bring people together.
