UPDATE: January 18, 2020: Some unexpected changes in Carlos Navarro’s job have created unavoidable scheduling challenges, so the 2020 season of “Connect with Mexico” dialogues at ArtVallARTa has been cancelled. In time, Connect with Mexico will surely return. Keep watching Banderas News for updates.
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – “Connect with Mexico” is back in town to help you discover this wonderful country, so come enjoy the topics of the 2020 Season, which begin on January 23, and continue every Thursday from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at ArtVallARTa.
Carlos Navarro, who recently served as political analyst and policy adviser to the Chief of Staff to the President of Mexico, is back at it this year and ready to share in insightful conversations with you, using words and images that will help us better understand this “tricky” country a little better.
If you are an English-speaking expat in Puerto Vallarta, this series of weekly conversations is a fun way to learn about Mexican art, culture, and the stories behind the doings and sayings of the Mexican people.
And who knows? – you may get some tools under your belt to better interact with the many Mexicans you encounter day by day.
The new season of “Connect with Mexico” talks will begin on Thursday, January 23, 2020 with a roundup and update on what has been happening in this country for the last, say, 12 months. It’ll be fun! We will continue meeting each Thursday from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, until next April. So, hop on!
What’s new this season? We will have a bit of current affairs discussion before we start our weekly topics. And you will also get to ask questions – about any Mexican topic – some 15-20 minutes before each sessions closes.
The cost is $300 MXN per person per session, or $250 MXN if you’re an ArtVallARTa member. Click HERE to register, then join us every Thursday at ArtVallARTa, 213 Calle Pilitas, next to the San Franciscan Resort and close to the corner with Olas Altas on the south side of Puerto Vallarta.
