Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – Residents and visitors in Puerto Vallarta are invited to join the R.I.S.E. (Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza) community for a meaningful Bazaar on Sunday, December 3, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the shelter located at Ricardo Flores Magón #251 in Colonia Benito Juárez.
Generous donations from the community have poured in, ensuring a wide array of items for sale at rock-bottom prices. From art and furniture to clothing and a Paroda wine bar, there’s something for everyone. Even a washing machine is up for grabs. All proceeds will contribute to R.I.S.E. operations, directly benefiting the 30+ children under their care.
R.I.S.E. is a safe haven for children facing homelessness or risk in their own homes. The shelter provides a secure, clean, and loving environment for kids ranging from newborns to mid-teens. Education, nutritious meals, medical, vision, dental services, psychological support, and speech and hearing assistance are part of the comprehensive care these children receive.
With a capacity for 50 children, the shelter has a dedicated and salaried staff ensuring the well-being of each child. R.I.S.E. has successfully created a close-knit family atmosphere where the children love, laugh, sing, play, and grow together.
For those interested in witnessing the positive impact firsthand, the shelter is open for visits on Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm. No prior arrangements are necessary – simply drop by at Ricardo Flores Magón #251. If attending a mass with the children piques your interest, they participate in the 9:30 service at the neighboring church.
