Ice Skating Rink in Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Known for its white sand beaches and clear blue waters, Puerto Vallarta is a sought-after destination for those seeking a perfect warm-weather vacation. But soon, those looking for a dose of winter fun can enjoy a classic cold-weather activity – ice-skating – right on the beach!

Surf, sun, sand and ice skating? It’s not as far-fetched as it might seem. On February 1 at 5:00 pm, Iceland and Beach, the only ice skating rink in Latin America that is ON THE BEACH, will be inaugurated at Febronio Uribe 171, near the Secrets Resort in the Hotel Zone Las Glorias. (Click HERE for map.)

Be one of the first to experience ice skating at the only rink in Latin America that is ON THE BEACH. Iceland and Beach is getting ready to bring a unique form of fun to Puerto Vallarta that everyone can enjoy. They even provides skates to those who don’t have them – which is most in an area where winter temperatures are often near 80°F.

Iceland and Beach will be open every day from 7:00 am to 2:00 am, which means you can make an adventurous day out of it… you can take a dip in the warm waters of Banderas Bay, then step off the beach and into a pair of skates to glide over real ice in one of the most unlikely locations.

Skating Prices are 130 pesos per hour or 80 pesos per half hour, including ice and/or hockey skates. (Prices are subject to change without notice.)

When it is warm and sunny every single day, the only glistening white surface you’d expect to see by the sea is made of sand; however even folks in the tropics need a dose of winter fun. Make plans now to experience Iceland and Beach on your Puerto Vallarta vacation.
