Jalisco will Return to Green on Mexico’s Covid-19 Risk Map

Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico – On Thursday, the governor of Jalisco gave his third government report and took the opportunity to anticipate that the State will return to green on Mexico’s Covid-19 Risk Traffic Light Map, when it is updated next week.

In the framework of his third government report, Enrique Alfaro Ramírez also reported that Jalisco is on a significant rise despite the difficulties, and mentioned that the handling of the pandemic has been one of the great achievements of his administration.

He recognized the University of Guadalajara for being the institution that provides health experts and pointed out that the Board of Health has made the appropriate decisions in the economic, health and education fields.

He declared that Jalisco will turn green at the national traffic light from the next update, which will be on Friday, November 5, so it will face the start of the high season in tourism with a low rate of infections.

For Puerto Vallarta, this is positive news, as a great number of tourists are expected for the winter season, to the extent of having records similar to those of 2019, prior to the pandemic.
