Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Garbage is an ongoing problem in tourist destinations, and Puerto Vallarta is no exception. The Julie Guerrero Real Estate Group has been during their part to keep our rivers, beaches and neighborhoods clean through their monthly River clean-ups.
Held on the first Sunday of every month, these “trash brigades” have been making a difference in Puerto Vallarta by getting residents and visitors involved in keeping our beautiful city clean all Summer long. This is especially important during the rainy season, as it prevents the trash that floats down the river from becoming marine debris.
If you are going to be in Puerto Vallarta on the first Sunday of the coming month, make plans now to join us on October 6th. Gather up your friends and neighbors and join us in Colonia Emiliano Zapata, where we’ll work together to show our love for the Bahía de Banderas.
The day begins with a complimentary continental breakfast to fuel some energy for the clean-up, which starts at 9:30 am. The JG Group will supply the garbage bags and tongs. You come prepared with shoes you don’t mind getting wet in the Rio Cuale, hat, gloves, sunscreen and your loving energy! Together we can make a difference!
If you cannot participate, but would like to contribute to the effort, you can donate $100 pesos so we can hire some local kids for the clean-up. Please swing by our offices anytime between 9 am and 6 pm during the week and we’ll be happy to take your pesos!
