Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The Marina Vallarta Malecón will once again fill with art, food, music, and local craftsmanship when the Marina Vallarta Art & Market returns Thursday, October 29. The popular weekly event will run every Thursday from 6 to 10 pm throughout the high season, offering residents and visitors an enjoyable way to spend an evening by the water.
Over the years, the market has grown into one of the area’s popular shopping and entertainment experiences, with approximately 180 to 200 booths lining the Marina Malecón. Vendors offer a wide selection of products, including handmade jewelry, original artwork, organic produce, homemade bread, clothing, and other artisan goods.

The market provides an opportunity to discover the work of local artists, craftspeople, and producers while supporting small businesses. Many of the items are handmade, making it easy for shoppers to find distinctive gifts, decorative pieces, and products that reflect the creativity of the region.
Food is another major attraction. Visitors can sample Mexican favorites such as esquites and traditional nieves de garrafa, alongside international treats including Italian gelato, French pastries, and artisan pizzas. Food stalls and beverage vendors offer plenty of options for those who want to enjoy dinner, grab a snack, or simply relax with a drink while taking in the waterfront setting.
Live entertainment adds to the evening’s appeal. Depending on the week, visitors may encounter folkloric dancers, mariachi performances, and other musicians providing a soundtrack for the market. Combined with the marina’s boats, scenic views, and colorful sunsets, the atmosphere makes browsing the stalls as enjoyable as the shopping itself.
Seasonal celebrations bring additional attractions throughout the high season. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Three Kings Day provide opportunities for vendors to introduce holiday-themed products and decorations, giving returning visitors something new to discover as the weeks pass.
Whether shopping for locally made crafts, sampling different cuisines, or enjoying an evening stroll beside the boats, the Marina Vallarta Art & Market offers something for a wide range of interests. Its combination of shopping, food, entertainment, and waterfront scenery makes it an inviting stop for both Puerto Vallarta residents and visitors looking to experience another side of the destination.
The Marina Vallarta Malecón takes place every Thursday from 6 to 10 pm along the Marina Vallarta Malecón. Admission is free, making it an accessible option for an evening out during the high season.
