Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Galleria Dante will take part in the South Side Shuffle on Friday, November 21, from 6–9 pm with a special Meet the Artists Night that invites guests to watch artists create new works live on-site. The evening offers a chance to speak directly with participating painters, sculptors, and mixed-media artists while enjoying an atmosphere filled with creativity and conversation.
Featured creators this season include painter Romeo De la Cruz working live, alongside sculptor Gustavo Lopez, painter and jeweler Cherie Sibley, landscape painter Bill Megrail, abstract artist Marc Galipeau, creative works by Sirpa, glass artist Luc Gauthier, mosaic artist Julia Swann, and contemporary artist Ana Tatya Neri. Visitors are encouraged to ask questions, learn about techniques, and discover new pieces as they come to life.
Galleria Dante, located in the heart of Puerto Vallarta’s Romantic Zone, is known as Puerto Vallarta’s largest and most eclectic gallery. The family-run space has represented more than 60 artists for over 30 years and offers art, food, wine, and worldwide insured shipping. Guests can view the collection and find new additions for their personal collections.
Those looking to dine during or after the event can visit Di Vino Dante, the gallery’s tapas restaurant located on the second floor. The restaurant, opened in 2013, serves lunch and dinner with an expansive tapas menu and offers 2×1 select cocktails during Happy Hour from 1–5 pm. The space features an elevator, air conditioning, and a relaxed setting ideal for taking a break from the Shuffle.
On the third level, Pizza Joe 2.0 pays tribute to founder Joe and continues his original favorites while preparing to launch new menu items and seasonal specials. The rooftop concept offers outdoor dining and plans to host black-and-white silent films accompanied by music. Hours currently run Monday–Saturday starting at 5:30 pm, with the rooftop set to reopen soon and the menu temporarily served through Di Vino Dante.
The South Side Shuffle is a bi-weekly event throughout the Romantic Zone where galleries, shops, and venues welcome visitors for evenings filled with art, music, and refreshments. It provides an ideal way to explore local talent and experience the creative character of the community.
