Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – A promising group of cadets who passed rigorous control and confidence tests have embarked on their training journey at the Regional Academy of the North Coast in Puerto Vallarta. These future members of the Directorate of Citizen Security were warmly welcomed by Commissioner Rigoberto Flores Parra and other senior officials at the academy.
Commissioner Rigoberto Flores Parra and his leadership team extended a warm welcome to the cadets, and encouraged them to embrace core values such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, integrity, and respect throughout their training. He highlighted that their education would cover a wide range of skills essential for effective police work, emphasizing the importance of dedication and a strong spirit of service.
“Over the next six months, your abilities, both physical and intellectual, will be put to the test. A positive and resilient mindset will help you succeed,” he remarked.
Deputy Director of Operations Carlos Humberto Arce Villaseñor also praised the cadets, noting that their entry into the academy demonstrates determination, heart, and a true calling to serve. He urged them to give their best, ask questions, and continually strive for excellence, reminding them that being good people is the foundation of being good police officers.
The 20th Generation cadets will receive comprehensive training in various subjects, including Police Instruction and Discipline, Active Health and Wellbeing, Police Defense Techniques, Emotional Intelligence, Human Rights, and Civic Justice. This robust training will prepare them to become exemplary officers who are dedicated to protecting and serving our community.
