It has been such a long time since I have had a full calendar of clinics and events. We seem to look at time now as pre-covid and post-covid. It has been since pre-covid for a calendar, clinics, actually any activities. Happy to be back into the swing of things!
The calendar for October is really full between our new clinics, regular clinics and events for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I hope you will read through everything carefully. Then, email pamela(at)healthcareresourcespv.com your requests, your comments and questions. The clinics fill quickly! But if you miss one because of this, we will be doing them each month. These are screening clinics, which means they are not to take the place of something urgent.
Every Friday in October, you can go to either Sanmare (across the street from Hospital Joya Marina, next door to Chedraui) or Medical Care by Hospital Joya (on V. Carranza, downstairs from The Lofts) between 9 am and 12 noon and have your blood pressure and glucose checked, no charge. Keeping track for several checks you will most likely know if you need to follow up with a physician.
October 4, 2022 and October 18, 2022: Do you know your blood type? These two days you can find out for only 139 pesos. Special order required, so please send me an email and include your date of birth. Locations: Clinic Sanmare or Medical Care by Hospital Joya 9 am until 2 pm.

CHARITABLE CAUSES
We have a very long list of items needed for those less fortunate. Ongoing needs include: Baby blankets, onsies, bottles, hygiene items, school supplies, craft supplies, beans, rice, non-perishables, gently used clothing – it is an endless list! I try to find those that tend to fall through the cracks. Every single thing is appreciated. Sometimes I need a couple of kind people to visit someone who is alone and in need of a friendly face either in a local private or public hospital. If you would be interested in being on this call list, please let me know.
