Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Palos Sculpture Studio at Casa Alexandria will be hosting an Open House on Wednesday, October 16 from 6:00-10:00 pm. Everyone is invited to come out and explore this unique art space located in the hills above Old Town Puerto Vallarta.
Established by Mexican sculptor Manuel Palos, Palos Studio is a fully-equipped sculpture and visual arts studio that offers year-round sculpture workshops and retreats for aspiring and accomplished artists.
Attached to the studio is the exquisite Casa Alexandra, a luxurious guest house that looks out over the blue waters of Banderas Bay. Studded with original sculptures by Master Sculptor Manuel Palos, Casa Alexandra houses seven private guest rooms, a central three-story courtyard/green space and a rooftop terrace with pool, bar, barbecue grill and entertainment area.
During the Open House, the public will have an opportunity to meet Master Sculptor Manuel Palos and several guest artists, tour the studio and guest house and witness the unveiling of a mosaic mural created by local artist Nancy Page.
Manuel Palos is an accomplished master stone carver and architectural sculptor with more than 50 years of experience in architectural restoration, conservation projects and custom sculpture. In addition to his work, he teaches stone carving in his San Francisco studio and holds stone carving and sculpture workshops in his studio in Puerto Vallarta.
