Over the past year, Floralia has excelled in international competitions, winning seven gold medals, one silver, and one bronze. Her impressive performances took place at prestigious events such as the Parapan American Games in Santiago, Chile, the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships in Paris, and the World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Italy. Her accomplishments have earned her a spot in the upcoming 2024 Paralympic Games, where she will compete in the discus throw.
Floralia first made her Paralympic debut in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, finishing fifth after just six months of training. By the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, she had advanced to a fourth-place finish. Now, with her sights set on Paris, she is determined to make it onto the podium.
