Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Two of the twenty cruise ships that Puerto Vallarta will welcome this month have already arrived, Holland America’s Zaandam, which actually docked on Friday, but spent the night in our port, and the Sapphire Princess, which arrived early Sunday morning.
This is in addition to the National Geographic “Sea Lion,” a 45-meter ship designed to navigate narrow inlets and wildlife-rich passageways inaccessible to larger ships, which was serviced in our port April 1-3.
Of the 20 scheduled arrivals this month, there will be six double arrivals, two of which will take place this week, on Tuesday with the visit of the Carnival Panorama and the Emerald Princess, and on Wednesday the Norwegian Bliss and the Discovery Princess.
The arrival of the Norwegian Jewel on Thursday, and the return of the Zaandam on Friday, will wrap up the first week of arrivals.
Next week there will also be two double arrivals, the Carnival Panorama and Navigator of the Seas on Tuesday the 11th and the Norwegian Jewel and the Discovery Princess on Wednesday, April 12.
The third week of April will begin with the return of the Carnival Panorama on Tuesday the 18th, followed by the month’s fifth double arrival, with the Norwegian Jewel and the Discovery Princess on Wednesday the 19th.
