Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Act II is gearing up for another great season of entertainment and can’t wait to tell you what’s in store for Puerto Vallarta audiences this winter, like ‘Showgirl,’ which will open Season 7 in The Red Room on November 2nd. Meanwhile, there’s plenty of fun to be had this week at Stages.

Wait ‘til you meet Act2PV’s very own “Showgirl,” Daniela Treviño! Having worked with the founder of Cirque du Soleil, and currently starring as the lead singer in “Savia,” the show featured on Vallarta Adventures’ Rhythms of the Night tour, this beautiful, sexy, whimsical, sassy vixen can sing like an angel, and dance like a pro!
Daniela studied music and dance at the Escuela de la Música del Rock a la Palabra and contemporary singing at the Academia de Arte de Florencia, both in Mexico City. She is fabulous! And, just wait until you see what she’ll be wearing… beautiful, handmade, costumes designed by Mexican haute couture designer, Federico Nuñez Murias! This beautiful “Showgirl” will delight the audience with songs made famous by the women of Las Vegas, such as Beyonce, Celine, Jennifer Lopez, Gloria Estefan, Mariah, Cher and more.

Danny Mininni always picks a new “break out singer” to perform on his birthday, and this year he has chosen Daniela as the featured singer on November 2, which is also opening night of Season 7 in The Red Room. Act2PV will host a Las Vegas-themed, catered party with many favorite foods found in a Las Vegas Buffet!

On Friday, September 13 at 6:00 pm Act II will host a special party to celebrate Mexico’s Independence! You will be treated to food, folklore, music, and tradition, through an unforgettable journey around Mexico!

“Divas de Patria”

Every Saturday in September – 9:30 pm
Divas de Rancho return to The Red Room with their newest production, Divas de Patria! Every Saturday at 9:30 pm, the show’s beloved stars, La Verito, Miss Bibi, and Jenny, (along with several special guests) will take viewers hand in hand through comedy and music, as they reflect on homophobia, transsexuality and “luchonic” moms, among other current social issues.
The cast of Divas de Patria is made up of Juan Carlos Ramírez as Jenny; Juan Pablo Hernández, La Verito; and Edgar Sánchez as Miss Bibi. In addition, during this season they will have special guests (alternating functions) such as singer Kharla Barragán, Mago Bananas, actor and singer Alfredo Mendoza and novel actor Vilchis Joya.
“We prepared a different show from the one that was presented in February. It is still an awards ceremony but there are surprises that will surely make you laugh a lot. We continue to challenge ourselves to deliver new things keep it exciting for us,” says Juan Pablo Hernández. “We’d like to thank the creative team: Kharla Barragán, Samantha Dueñas, Carmen Jazmín Ríos and José de Santiago; and the Alas Singing School, Médisim Pharmacies and Seasons PV, whose greatly appreciated support makes this show possible.”
