As of August 29, PV Buses Must Turn On Air Conditioning

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – With the start of the 2022-2023 school year, as of Monday, August 29, public transportation units in Puerto Vallarta will have to turn on their air conditioners, due to the intense heat in the city and people’s complaints.

This was announced by the Secretary of Transportation, Diego Monraz Villaseñor, who confirmed the fact, at the request of the governor, after multiple complaints about the intense heat felt inside the city’s buses.

However, turning on the air conditioners will represent a greater responsibility for the people, who will have to wear face masks at all times.

It should be noted that many units have air conditioning that is not working since they were used for a long time with the windows open and this damaged them, however, those buses that have functional air conditioning must turn them on as of Monday.
