The excitement continued with a packed house for opening night of The Greatest Show on Earth on Wednesday night, another full house for Duo Vallarta’s two-piano concert, and full attendance for Karaoke and Bingo. It’s clear that people are staying cool and loving the entertainment in Act2PV’s new Mary Ann’s Ovations Piano Bar and the beautiful Casa Karma Red Room. Act2PV’s fantastic Casa Karma Red Room will feature a musical performance by Ensemble Paraiso on Tuesday, 2 July 2024 at 7 pm. The group, a spin-off of the Puerto Vallarta orchestra – Jean-Guy Comeau on piano, two flutists Andrea Jupina and Olga Martinez, and special guest vocal soloist, Kathy Overly.
Since moving to Vallarta in 1997, Kathy has enjoyed numerous performance opportunities, including Spotlight Players, Puerto Vallarta Chamber Orchestra, Mariachi Orchestra, Santa Barbara Theater, Vocalistas, at the Guadalupe Cathedral, and more recently as a soloist with Poder Coral conducted by Aquiles Morales.
The program will span various musical genres, including the baroque of Bach and Loeillet, impressionist era music by Debussy, Fauré & Gaubert, and selections from Gershwin, Broadway, opera, the movies and pop, including Adele’s Make You Feel My Love, which was originally written by Bob Dylan.

Act2PV celebrates the summer with four special shows on Thursday nights in July.
Red, White and “Rhapsody in Blue” – a celebration of the 4th of July from the RIGHT side of the wall, featuring David Maiocco as “Liberace” on Thursday, July 4 at 7:00 pm. In his dazzling “Liberace” persona, David is set to host a star-spangled celebration where stars, stripes, and patriotic colors are the theme of the day!
This is the ultimate July 4th bash where red, white, and blue attire is the dress code, and everyone is invited to shine in their most festive patriotic gear. With his piano taking center stage, David promises to bring an evening of hilarious entertainment and patriotic fervor. VOCAL PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP

Act2PV is thrilled to announce a special opportunity for Vallarta entertainers: a vocal workshop led by our new general manager, David Sabella, (accompanied by David Maiocco) every Saturday from July 6 to August 24! Sabella brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this workshop. A veteran of Broadway, David’s extensive and diverse performance career includes starring in productions such as the revival of the Broadway musical, “Chicago,” and working alongside industry legends. Beyond his performance accomplishments, David is internationally recognized as a master teacher in music theater and contemporary commercial music voice technique. His methods and insights have benefited countless performers around the world, making him a sought-after mentor in the field.
This workshop is an exceptional chance for young performers to learn from one of the best in the industry. Participants will delve into correct singing techniques, explore various aspects of vocal performance, and receive personalized guidance to improve their skills. Whether you’re just starting your journey in the performing arts or looking to refine your craft, this workshop promises to be both educational and inspiring. David is generously offering this workshop free of charge to young performers, emphasizing his commitment to nurturing new talent. Additionally, the public is invited to audit the course for a fee of 400 pesos, providing a unique opportunity to observe and learn from David’s teaching approach.
