Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Gloria Fiona, accompanied by her 9-piece live band, delivered 4 sold-out, remarkable tribute shows to musical superstar Adele at The Palm Cabaret. Gloria’s celebration of one of music’s favorite entertainers returns to The Palm on May 10th at 6 pm.
In paying homage to such an extraordinary vocalist like Adele, most would fall short, but Gloria is phenomenal! Her appearance, her choreography, her vocals and even her enthusiasm match the legend. The band is similar to an orchestra composed of violins, cello, bass, guitar, drums and piano. This group of musicians skillfully accompanies Gloria and her 2 background singers.
Gloria’s passion over the past few years has been to create a tribute show worthy of the superstar whom she wanted to represent on stage. Her Adele tribute is a brilliant fulfillment of that dream. Every song is amazing and the enthusiasm for all these sold-out shows has been phenomenal!
Born in Rome, Italy, Gloria Fiona has traveled the world since the age of 19. When Gloria arrived in Mexico 10 years ago, she didn’t know anyone, didn’t speak English or Spanish and had no contacts in the entertainment community.
After arriving in PV, Gloria won 2nd Place in The Voice of Vallarta, played in a band with Jorge Lausen from The Rolling Rockers, was part of the DA Crew band, and joined the popular all-girl band, Las Mambas, before moving on to perform her own shows in various venues around Vallarta and Nayarit this season. You’ve come a long way, Gloria, and you’ve only just begun. Vallarta has a new star in its music scene!
Gloria has never really aspired to be in Rock Band. With a sometimes shy personality and a preference for instrumental music over rock, she continues to take the music scene by storm with her compelling Adele tribute and her rock & pop show.
Like most of us, Gloria has had her struggles. After losing a close friend a year ago and resolving to face the pain without alcohol and drugs, she has channeled her emotions through singing as she seeks to become whole and flourish with her love of music. With her producer, Luca, she created her Adele tribute, which has made her a star this season in Vallarta’s entertainment scene. Great things are ahead for Gloria Fiona and we can’t wait to see what she does next!
Gloria’s goal is to inspire others to believe in themselves. She has lived and understood the pain of self-doubt but is rising above it as a spectacular entertainer. Her message is to trust yourself and take a chance on your dreams. She wants to continue to create something that has meaning and value, both to herself and to others.
In May, she plans to debut a new Burlesque Show at La Catrina Cantina, which will happen monthly. She also aspires to create her own show along with more Adele tributes. On May 9, she’ll be playing at Casita & Garden from 7:30-9:30 pm. Over the summer, Gloria will perform a monthly Adele tribute at Mariposario Jardin Magico in the cruise ship / port district of Vallarta.
