Puerto Vallarta, México – Community spirit takes center stage this month as Puerto Vallarta prepares for an evening of celebration and purpose on the Rio Cuale Island.

On Thursday, March 19, the Cultural Center patio will transform into a festive fairground from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, inviting residents and visitors to gather for the Vallarta Cares Spring Fair. This family-friendly event highlights the rich culture of Mexico through an array of activities designed to bring people together for a meaningful cause.
Attendees can enjoy games for all ages, try their luck on a mechanical bull, sample delicious food and drinks, and take part in raffles throughout the evening. One lucky guest could even win a two-night stay in the beautiful coastal village of Yelapa.
Tickets are 200 pesos and include entrance to all games. Those who purchase tickets online will also receive a free raffle entry, adding another chance to take home a special prize.
The festivities serve as a critical support system for the essential work performed by Vallarta Cares. Originally established as a grassroots food bank during the pandemic, the organization has since expanded its reach to become a comprehensive lifeline for the region.
Today, it provides medical care, educational programs, and disaster relief across Puerto Vallarta, Cabo Corrientes, and Bahía de Banderas. By participating in the fair, guests directly contribute to these efforts, ensuring that consistent nutrition and medical supplies reach orphanages, rehabilitation centers, and the city’s most vulnerable populations.
As the spring season begins, this gathering offers a unique opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of laughter and community connection while addressing the ongoing challenge of food insecurity. Every ticket sold helps sustain the mission of delivering dignity and compassion to those in need.
Whether you are drawn by the music, the games, or the chance to win a vacation, your presence ensures that the support network for our neighbors remains strong and effective.
