Puerto Vallarta’s nautical tourism season is sailing ahead with impressive growth. After hosting only three large vessels in August and eight in September, activity at the port terminal surged in October with 19 cruise ship arrivals.
The momentum continues this month, as 22 cruise ships are scheduled to dock in November, including several double and triple arrivals that will bring thousands of visitors to the destination.
The two triple arrivals will occur on Tuesday, November 11 and 25, featuring the Carnival Panorama, Nieuw Amsterdam, and Norwegian Jade. Together, they will bring around 9,000 passengers, plus a large number of crew members, creating strong days for local tourism operators, guides, and merchants who depend on cruise activity.

Four double arrivals are set for Wednesdays – November 5, 12, 19, and 26 – with the Royal Princess and the Norwegian Bliss visiting together. Both ships are among the largest to frequent Vallarta, measuring 330 meters in length and with a combined capacity of about 8,500 passengers. Each is scheduled to make four stops throughout the month.
Another double arrival is planned for Friday, November 14, when two smaller National Geographic vessels – the NG Sea Lyon and NG Sea Bird – will dock, offering an additional boost to the port’s growing visitor numbers.
Single arrivals also contribute to the busy schedule. The Koningsdam opened the month on November 4, followed by the Emerald Princess on the 15th, the Navigator of the Seas on the 17th and 28th, and the Norwegian Jade on the 18th.
With steady growth and an increasingly active port schedule, Puerto Vallarta continues to affirm its position as one of Mexico’s most popular cruise destinations, providing a significant boost to the local economy and tourism industry.
