Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – The city of Puerto Vallarta is gearing up for Vallarta Pride 2025, set to take place from May 17 to 25. With over 40,000 visitors expected, this 12th edition promises to be one of the most exciting and inclusive celebrations in the country.
Under the leadership of Mayor Luis Munguía’s administration and led by Councilwoman Melissa Madero, president of the Tourism Services and Visitor Relations Commission, the organizing committee recently held a key planning meeting. The goal: ensure a safe, smooth, and unforgettable week of events through strong coordination between municipal departments and event organizers.
This year’s theme, “The Future Has No Gender,” will be reflected in a wide range of activities that go beyond entertainment. More than 20 public and private events will touch on important topics such as health, education, activism, art, and history. The aim is to celebrate diversity while encouraging meaningful conversations within the community.
Key highlights include the March Against Homophobia on May 17 and the colorful Pride Parade on May 22. Visitors can also look forward to a volleyball tournament, street parties, races, HIV prevention efforts, and artistic performances from influential figures in the LGBTQ+ community.
To support the festivities, multiple city departments will work together, including Public Safety, Transit, Efficient Services, the Office of Sexual Diversity, and others. Their involvement will ensure both safety and organization during this major tourism event.
Vallarta Pride 2025 is shaping up to be not just a celebration, but a powerful expression of inclusion and unity – showing once again why Puerto Vallarta, Mexico remains a leading LGBTQ+ beach vacation destination.
