Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – On Monday, June 12, Puerto Vallarta Mayor Luis Alberto Michel Rodríguez delivered 6 motorcycles, 6 patrol cars and 12 pick-up trucks to the Directorate of Citizen Security. This brings the total number of new security units that Profe Michel has put into service in the municipality to 101.
It is worth mentioning that the six BMW motorcycles were donated by the private initiative, and the businessmen were recognized for their contribution to the security of the municipality.
Rigoberto Flores Parra, director of Citizen Security of Puerto Vallarta, reported that the new police trucks, patrol cars and motorcycles would begin operations immediately, in accordance with the corresponding security plan. He added that the new vehicles are part of a modern and functional security fleet that is at the service of all citizens.
The delivery of the vehicles was made on the main avenue, where the new patrol cars, trucks and motorcycles were paraded to make all citizens aware of this new acquisition by the City Council.
Profe Michel gave the starting signal for the patrols, which toured the city with sirens wailing.
