Puerto Vallarta is gearing up to celebrate its love for tacos with the return of the Feria del Taco on March 31st, 2024, National Taco Day. This free event coincides with the busy Semana Santa (Holy Week) tourist season, attracting both domestic and international visitors.
A celebration of Mexican culture and cuisine, specifically the iconic taco, the 8th Taco Fest will feature an expanded selection of over 45 varieties of tacos from 16 different local taquerias and restaurants. Attendees can savor a diverse range of fillings, from classic al pastor and carnitas to fresh seafood and vegetarian options.
Beyond the tacos, the festival offers a vibrant atmosphere with live music to keep the energy high. Local vendors will showcase a tempting array of craft beers and mezcals for tasting, alongside refreshing aguas frescas and delectable desserts from local bakeries.
The Taco Fest takes place at Parque Hidalgo and runs from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm, offering a delightful afternoon and evening celebration of Mexican culture and cuisine.
Last year’s Feria del Taco Puerto Vallarta attracted more than 3,000 people, so get there early to secure your spot! Admission is free.
