Vallarta to Welcome 15 International Cruise Arrivals in March

Puerto Vallarta is expecting 15 international cruise ship arrivals in March 2024, as reported by the Puerto Vallarta Administration of the National Port System (ASIPONA).

The schedule includes one triple arrival, two double arrivals, and one overnight stay. The triple arrival occurs on Wednesday, March 27th, when the Zaandam (Holland America), Koningsdam (Norwegian), and Norwegian Bliss will arrive at piers 1, 2, and 3 respectively.

Double arrivals are scheduled for Wednesday, March 6th (Norwegian Bliss and Discovery Princess) and Tuesday, March 26th (Carnival Panorama and Disney Wonder).

The MS Vasco da Gama, operated by Nicko Cruises, will be the only ship to stay overnight, arriving Saturday, March 9th, and departing Sunday, March 10th. This smaller ship has a capacity of 1,260 passengers and is currently sailing from French Polynesia to the Mexican Pacific coast.

The Carnival Panorama was the first and will be the most frequent visitor, arriving four times throughout March, with the first arrival happening today (Tuesday, March 5).

On March 6th, the port will see the arrival of two large ships: the Norwegian Bliss (168,000 tons, 4,000+ passengers) and the Discovery Princess (145,000 tons, 3,660 passengers). Both are larger than the Carnival Panorama (133,000 tons, 4,000 passengers).

The diverse array of cruise ships promises an exciting month ahead, bringing thousands of cruise passengers eager to explore and experience everything that Puerto Vallarta has to offer travelers.
