Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The Vinoma Fest 2024, now in its third edition, is set to take place in various venues across Puerto Vallarta from March 7th to 9th. This year, the festival will spotlight the state of Jalisco, showcasing its esteemed wine brands.
Manuel Santana, the festival’s general director, announced a diverse program featuring wine-focused conferences, including discussions on sommeliers and the historical significance of leading wine houses in the country. These sessions will be held at the Centro Universitario de la Costa (CUCosta) on Thursday, March 7th, and are open to the public. The festival will commence at 6:30 pm with an inaugural toast at Tierra Luna Gardens.
On the following day, March 8th, a gala pairing dinner titled “Jalisco, Land of Wines” will coincide with International Women’s Day, featuring a renowned chef highlighting the fusion of Mexican cuisine flavors with distinguished wine labels.
Wrapping up the Vinoma Fest 2024 on Saturday, March 9th, is the Wine Festival at Pier 2 of the Maritime Terminal, boasting the participation of 52 exhibitors and 40 wineries. Attendees can sample over 400 wine labels spanning various grape varieties, alongside tasting offerings from regional restaurants.
The festival’s grand finale will feature a performance by the acclaimed group Nortec Collective, known for their fusion of northern and electronic music hits.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to host the festival’s third installment, Santana emphasized Jalisco’s burgeoning reputation in wine production. “Jalisco is currently in the spotlight, and rightfully so, with a flourishing wine scene across 12 production houses.”
Santana extended a warm invitation to individuals of all ages and backgrounds, affirming that the festival’s activities are inclusive to all. “Wine culture transcends age and social status, making Vinoma’s diverse offerings accessible to everyone this year.”
