Travelers in northern Mexico will soon have another nonstop way to reach Puerto Vallarta. Volaris is resuming direct service between Mexicali, Baja California, and Puerto Vallarta International Airport, strengthening the destination’s air connection with an important domestic market.
According to Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP), the airline will also resume direct service between Mexicali and Los Cabos, giving travelers in Baja California more convenient access to two of Mexico’s popular beach destinations.
The Puerto Vallarta-Mexicali route will operate Thursdays and Sundays, restoring a direct connection between the two cities after a period without nonstop service.
For passengers, the return of the route means less time spent traveling and no need to make a connection elsewhere. The flights can serve a variety of travelers, including vacationers, business passengers and people visiting friends and family.
A Boost for Domestic Connectivity
