30th Gala Puerto Vallarta-Riviera Nayarit, March 20-21

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The Banderas Bay region is gearing up to host the 2025 edition of Gala Puerto Vallarta – Riviera Nayarit, the region’s most significant tourism event. Set for March 20 and 21, the event will bring together 90 wholesale agencies, 60 hosted buyers, 115 hotels, and representatives from Guadalajara and Costalegre tourism trusts, as well as 15 magical towns in Jalisco and Nayarit. Attendees will also include media outlets, airlines, and executives from the Puerto Vallarta and Tepic airports.

Although the primary venue for this year’s Gala is in Nayarit, Puerto Vallarta will play a key role by hosting many of its partners and select events. One highlight is the “Spring Night Party” welcome cocktail, scheduled for March 19 at 7:00 p.m. in Plaza Lázaro Cárdenas, also known as Parque de los Azulejos.

Gala Puerto Vallarta – Riviera Nayarit continues to strengthen its reputation as the premier tourism event in the region. It serves as a platform for establishing alliances and cooperative strategies between tourism industry leaders, shaping plans to enhance market growth in the coming seasons.

Beyond the expected business partners, the event will welcome municipal and state authorities, consular agents, presidents of chambers and associations, tourism sector representatives, and specialized tour operators, including members of CONEXSTUR. Suppliers and companies focusing on niche markets will also take part, further expanding business opportunities.

With its blend of seaside and mountain landscapes, Puerto Vallarta has cemented its status as a leading sun-and-beach destination, appealing to a variety of market segments such as luxury, romance, LGBTQ+, MICE, medical, and golf tourism. This diversity has attracted a growing number of service providers catering to these specialized sectors.

Organized as part of the ongoing collaboration between the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust and the Nayarit State Tourism Secretariat, the event fosters stronger connections among industry stakeholders. These partnerships are crucial for increasing visitor flow and sustaining the region’s tourism growth.

Gala 2025 will also benefit from extensive media coverage, with 60 regional, national, and international outlets providing global exposure. The event’s nearly 1,500 scheduled business meetings are expected to generate competitive rates and secure hotel inventory sales, ultimately boosting occupancy and economic impact. In 2024, the event contributed to a record-breaking $40.791 billion pesos in revenue.

Each year, Gala continues to attract more participants, drawn by the destination’s diverse accommodations, experiences, and world-class events. This ongoing success ensures Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit remain top choices for travelers worldwide.
