The Best of Broadway

The Best of Broadway opened last week to a wildly enthusiastic audience! The cast was stellar and received many standing ovations throughout the show! If you love Broadway music, this is the show for you! With music from 35 different Broadway musicals, including Wicked, My Fair Lady, Carousel, Annie Get Your Gun, Company, Phantom of the Opera, Billy Elliot, Mary Poppins, The Lion King and so many more! There are musical medleys sung in 4-part harmony, solos, duets, a capella songs and professional dancing, and seven of the best performers in Puerto Vallarta, including Brenda Gavino, Sarah Heckbart, Gabriela Heart, Ximena Esparza, Victor do Espirito, Alfredo Mendoza and Act2PV’s talented choreographer, Edgar Roman. This is definitely a show that will bring back memories, and maybe even a tear to your eye. We are so excited about this show and know that you will love it, too! Indra Meza takes the stage and stars in the most amazing Cher tribute you can imagine! The NEW Cher show presents the best hits of our Diva’s career and features Cher’s music from cinema, disco, television, and the legendary song, Believe. Everything is here. At Act2PV, we want to elevate tribute shows to another level, thus creating a unique experience. Edgar Sánchez, director and executive producer, has brought together a great team to create this new show, including costume designer, set designer, and music producer, Warneros, Arielle Moreno, in charge of multimedia, and Act2PV’s incredible choreographer, Edgar Román, with his group of professional dancers. With showgirls, lights, aerial dance, comedy, glitter and iconic moments, it’s the NEW Cher show.
Guitar Heroes

Joaquin Camarero “Juako Guitar” is an international virtuoso guitarist and performer who has been featured on many cruises. This amazing show will feature the music of many famous guitarists, such as B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Hendrix, Prince, and many more. He will be singing and playing some of their most well-known songs, such as Rock Baby, Layla, Voodoo Child, Purple Rain, and many more. Guitar Heroes is an energetic show with a live band that you don’t want to miss!

Act2PV is delighted to host the fabulous David Duvall in a special once-a-month concert series that focuses on popular composers and songwriting teams who contributed to The Great American Songbook! This month, he is performing a tribute to the incredible Burt Bacharach & Hal David.
Duvall will be singing and playing the piano and will be joined onstage by Stephanie Wright Watts, Stolie and Mark Hartman, along with Sheila on bass and Aron on Drums. He’ll be performing such classics as Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head, Walk on By, I’ll Never Fall in Love Again, I Say a Little Prayer, Do You Know the Way to San Jose, The Look of Love, and many more!
Before moving to Puerto Vallarta, Duvall performed in countless nightclubs and theatres across the US, and has been described as “a gifted storyteller in both song and backstage stories,” with a “smooth, rich voice.” After 45 years of studying/arranging/singing the works of these iconic writers, Duvall has gained an incredible insight into this type of music. His unique ability to share stories and anecdotes about the writers and their creations is reminiscent of Bobby Short’s renowned performances at New York City’s Cafe Carlyle.
