Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The municipal government of Puerto Vallarta, through the Instituto Vallartense de Cultura, is excited to announce the 2024 summer program ‘Mis Vacaciones de 10’. This engaging series of workshops is designed for the upcoming school holidays and will be held in various cultural centers across the municipality.
Brenda Janeth Díaz Flores, director of the cultural institute, shared that from July 22 to August 2, children aged 6 to 13 can enjoy workshops in singing, jewelry making, crafts, puppetry, painting, pasta francesa (flexible clay used to create porcelain figures), papier-mâché, special tours, and more. These activities will take place at the Cuale, El Pitillal, La Lija, and Biblioteca Las Mojoneras cultural centers.
The program offers a special registration fee of 399 pesos. Children of municipal employees can enjoy a discounted rate of 350 pesos, and families enrolling two siblings will receive a fantastic 50% discount for each child!
All sessions run from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, with the exception of the Las Mojoneras Library workshops, which take place from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
At the Cuale Cultural Center, children can participate in baking, recycling crafts, musical comedy, French pasta, painting, and papier-mâché workshops.
The La Lija Cultural Center offers urban dance, painting, baking, crafts, jewelry making, yoga, glass blowing, treasure hunts, puppet theater, and beekeeping workshops.
El Pitillal Cultural Center will host yoga, plasticine art, lottery games, film, theater, crafts, cookie decorating, experimental science, drawing, and painting workshops.
At the Las Mojoneras Library, workshops include Explorers of the Air, Stories and Questions for the Curious, The Super Power of Imagination, ¡Al aire! Locutores de la lectura, and ¡Entre fichas, dados y canicas!
