Shop for a Cause at the RISE Children’s Shelter Bazaar

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – The R.I.S.E. (Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza) community invites residents and visitors to shop for a cause at the upcoming RISE Bazaar, taking place Saturday, November 8 from 1:00–5:00 pm, and Sunday, November 9 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, at the shelter located at Ricardo Flores Magón #251 in Colonia Benito Juárez.

This weekend event offers a meaningful way to give back while enjoying a treasure hunt through an array of donated items. Shoppers will find home goods, art, kitchenware, Christmas décor, furniture, electronics, and unique pieces — including handcrafted Parota wood furniture and a stylish wine bar — all priced to sell.

Every purchase directly benefits the children of Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza, a shelter that provides safety, stability, and hope for children facing homelessness or risk in their own homes. R.I.S.E. offers comprehensive care including education, nutritious meals, medical and dental attention, and psychological and developmental support.

With room for 50 children, the shelter is staffed by a dedicated team that ensures each child receives the love and guidance they need. R.I.S.E. has created a nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow together as a family.

The RISE Bazaar is not only an opportunity to shop, but also to make a lasting difference in the lives of children who rely on the shelter’s care.

Those unable to attend in person can still help by visiting the RISE Puerto Vallarta Facebook page or the official website at RisePV.com, where weekly wish lists and donation options are available. Volunteers are always welcome to join the R.I.S.E. family by contacting the shelter at contacto(at)risepv.com.

R.I.S.E. (Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza) is a privately funded, 50-bed children’s shelter in Puerto Vallarta, providing a loving environment for children who are “at risk” at home or have no home. These resilient children range in age from newborn to mid-teens. For 20 years RISE has operated with a combination of a great staff and a team of volunteers that keep RISE running. RISE is 100% funded through private donations and fundraising is a huge part of our ability to provide these children with nutritional meals, education, medical and dental services, activities, clothing & more.
