Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – For many residents and visitors, the Vallarta Symphony Orchestra’s holiday concerts are a cherished tradition, dating back to its early days as the Puerto Vallarta Chamber Orchestra in 2005. This December, the orchestra returns with Navidad Nuestra, a spirited Christmas program that blends Latin American soul, classical brilliance, and community talent.
Under the skilled baton of conductor Aquiles Morales, the performances will take place on Saturday, December 14, at 7:00 pm at the American School in Marina Vallarta, and on Sunday, December 15, at 7:00 pm at Salón Paraíso in Nuevo Nayarit.
This year’s program is a tapestry of rich musical storytelling, featuring three awe-inspiring works. The heart of the concert lies in a beloved Argentine musical masterpiece that beautifully narrates the Christmas story through a distinct Latin American perspective, starring the magnificent tenor soloist, Eric Gault.
The performance will also showcase a full spectrum of seasonal emotions in four moving suites. These suites will feature the talents of the Puerto Vallarta, Bucerías, and Cruz de Huanacaxtle Choirs, alongside celebrated guest soloists Suba Sankaran (Soprano) and Dylan Bell (Tenor).
Adding a brilliant local touch, orchestra violinist Germán Espinosa will make his anticipated solo debut with a stunning rendition of Antonio Vivaldi’s Winter. This performance is sure to paint vivid auditory pictures of snow and icy storms—a dramatic contrast to the tropical warmth of Puerto Vallarta – and highlight Espinosa’s talent.
With its mix of classical elegance and Latin warmth, Navidad Nuestra promises an unforgettable holiday experience. Tickets are priced at $400 MXN for adults, $350 MXN for seniors, and $150 MXN for children and students. They are available for purchase online at iampv.com.mx/eventos.
Make plans now to come out and enjoy some beautiful music, while supporting music education for the children of Puerto Vallarta. Event proceeds will help the Institute of Musical Arts finance the educational and musical projects that comprise it, like the Vallarta Symphony Orchestra, Flute Ensemble and the Salty Paw Jazz Orchestra, which is a student Big Band group that has been performing throughout the entire Banderas Bay area.

IAMPV (Instituto de Artes Musicales Puerto Vallarta) is a non-profit educational music institute whose mission is to bring the joy of music to children and young adults in the greater Banderas Bay area. This is accomplished through a comprehensive program with many levels of instruction and different musical disciplines. Musical instruments are provided to beginning students.
