Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – On October 19 and 20 from 12 to 6 pm, Centro Cultural Biblioteca Los Mangos will host ConComics Puerto Vallarta 2019, a multi-genre entertainment and comic convention similar to Comic-Con events in the United States, but on a smaller scale.
One of the most important Pop Culture events in Latin America, ConComics is the place for lovers of Comics, Animation and Science Fiction to gather together and enjoy concerts, presentations by national and international actors, special presentations by popular YouTubers, Cosplay Competitions, and a whole lot of fun!
This year’s event will welcome voice-over actors Miguel Angel Leal the voice of ‘Ash Ketchum’ of Pokémon and singers Carlos Pena Jr. and Justin Bieber in the Spanish Language version of Ugly Americans; and Guadalupe Leal, the voice of ‘Carly Shay’ in ICarly, ‘Alex Russo’ in The Sorcerers of Waverly Place, and ‘Luna Lovegood’ in Harry Potter, among other roles. YouTuber Miss Sinfonia, is also among the special guests who will make appearances at ConComics Puerto Vallarta 2019.
In addition, ConComics will have a gaming area; “Artists Alley,” where you can meet independent comic artists and buy their works; all kinds of contests – from singing and dancing to all kinds of cosplay (costume role play) competitions, tournaments; along with concerts and many other surprises.
The one-day pass costs $100 pesos per person, and includes access to all activities. The two-day pass costs $150 pesos per person in advance, or $170 pesos at the door, and includes access to all activities and a special edition gift (limited to 200 pieces). In support of all families, children under 120 cm. (4 ft.) tall get in free when accompanied by their parents or siblings who have purchased a ticket. Come join the fun!
