Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Since tourism is one of the main activities in “Mexico’s Most Authentic Port,” the city of Puerto Vallarta celebrated World Tourism Day by inviting local government officials, travel & tour agencies, and a select few local businesses owners, to attend a lively event held at City Hall on Friday, September 27.
Puerto Vallarta has recently become an “entertainment destination,” and Act2PV has had a lot to do with this major development. Thousands of people come to town every year, and many of them actually plan their trips around the shows that Act2PV has on its schedule.
As a result, the municipal government invited Act2PV to not only attend the World Tourism Day celebration, but also to provide entertainment for the event.
Since audiences have named the fabulous musical duo, Us Two, the “#1 Band in Puerto Vallarta” for the past two years in a row, Daniel Celis and Noemi Plascencia were asked to perform, and they “wowed the crowd” with their incredible harmony and unique arrangements of popular songs.
Daniel and Noemi’s musical presentation was enthusiastically applauded by attendees, including Puerto Vallarta Mayor Arturo Dávalos and his family, who said he thoroughly enjoyed the performance given by Us Two, who will bring a brand-new show to The Red Room for the 2019-2020 season.
Act2PV has promised to help the city keep growing as an “Entertainment Destination” by offering visitors the very best entertainment, service, and experience possible. In return, the Tourism Board has agreed to work with, and fully support, their ongoing efforts to bring high-quality theater productions, world-famous cabaret acts, and internationally-known drag shows that are on par with any theater in North America, to Puerto Vallarta audiences.
Act II Stages will kick off their 7th year of entertaining Puerto Vallarta on October 29 with the hit Broadway Musical, Mamma Mia! and they’re BEYOND THRILLED about the incredible new season of entertainment in store.
