Step into Act2PV’s world of “Madonnarama,” where the magic of Madonna’s iconic legacy comes to life! Back in 2007, Edgar Sánchez ignited the flame of Madonna fever in Puerto Vallarta with an unforgettable party, hosted by none other than Madonna’s brother, Christopher Ciccone, at the legendary Stereo Bar.
Fast forward to 2024, and Madonnarama is reborn, this time as an electrifying live singing concert extravaganza! Picture yourself immersed in the thrill of the Queen of Pop’s greatest hits, brought to life by the sensational vocals of Ale Matus from Tromba Vetusta, delivering every note live, alongside soulful acoustic duets with the talented Dabit Azofeifa.
Under the expert guidance of producer Warneros and the creative direction of Edgar Sánchez, prepare to be dazzled by a spectacle like no other. With choreography by the renowned Luis Roberto Pérez, whose credits include choreographing for music giants like Ricky Martin, Paulina Rubio, and Fey, among others, Madonnarama promises an evening of unforgettable moments and pure musical magic. Mary Ann’s Ovations Piano Bar GRAND OPENING!

After a couple of very successful weeks of a “soft opening“ of Mary Ann’s Ovations Piano Bar, Act2PV will celebrate its official “grand opening” on Sunday, June 16 with a Special Event: a Tony Awards Viewing Party on June 16 with David Maiocco (aka: Liberace) at the piano (and co-hosting the show with David Sabella)! Mark Hartman will be reporting LIVE from the Tony Awards (via video call).
This glitzy and glamorous event will begin with a glamorous photo-op walk and an extended happy hour starting at 4:30 pm. The evening will feature a 50/50 raffle, as well as a live auction of FABULOUS PRIZES with 100% of the proceeds going towards the installation of an elevator, which will exponentially increase our audience attendance for all the wonderful shows that Act2PV has planned for the 2024/2025 season!
Act2PV has some very exciting plans for the upcoming months, including:
- A Matinee Movie Series in the Main Stage Theater
- Thursday Evening Live Entertainment in Mary Ann’s Ovations Piano Bar, with dinner service from Yamada Japanese Cuisine
- Saturday Bingo in Mary Ann’s Ovations Piano Bar
- Karaoke/Open Mic Night
- Live Entertainment in the beautiful, new, air-conditioned Ovations Piano Bar
Sabella envisions the new Ovations Piano Bar as “the hub of the city,” offering a comfortable setting to enjoy live music from “PV’s best entertainers.” It will feature happy hour (starting at 5 pm), a Mark Hartman show on Saturdays, and other unique entertainment with special showtimes, culminating in a late-night cabaret bar.
As the summer heats up, Act2PV will continue to work hard to entertain Puerto Vallarta audiences. Delivering an array of entertainment options in air-conditioned comfort, there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy!
