Mexico Takes First Step Towards Eliminating Daylight Saving Time

Mexico is one step away from saying goodbye to daylight saving time after more than two decades. On Tuesday, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador sent the initiative to Congress which, if passed, will eliminate advancing the clock on the first Sunday in April and turning it back on the last Sunday in October.
