Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – Democrats Abroad Costa Banderas invites Americans in Puerto Vallarta to celebrate the United States’ 249th Independence Day with an afternoon of good company, live music, and delicious food. The event takes place Friday, July 4, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Bonito Kitchen & Bar, located at Venustiano Carranza 512 in the heart of the Zona Romántica.
Guests will enjoy complimentary appetizers courtesy of Democrats Abroad Costa Banderas, along with 2-for-1 specials on red and white wine. Bonito Kitchen’s full menu of globally loved Asian dishes will also be available for purchase, offering a flavorful experience in a warm and stylish setting.
Live entertainment will be provided by the talented Joan Houston, joined by Bing Young, setting the tone for an afternoon of celebration and camaraderie. Whether you’re a local resident or just visiting, this event offers a fun way to connect, reflect on democracy, and honor the spirit of the Fourth of July.
There’s no ticket required to attend, but organizers encourage a suggested donation of $15 USD or more to support their efforts in reaching U.S. voters living in the greater Banderas Bay region. Donations can be made online – cash cannot be accepted at the event. Even if you can’t attend the event, you can show your support by donating.
Guests are encouraged to RSVP and are welcome to bring friends. Whether you’re a full-time resident or visiting for the summer, it’s a great way of saying our democracy matters, while enjoying a festive afternoon with fellow Americans in Puerto Vallarta.
