San Francisco, Nayarit, Mexico – November 2022 news from Circo de Los Niños de San Pancho (Children’s Circus of San Pancho), a non-profit organization designed to encourage artistic, technical and personal development of local children through various circus and dance disciplines.
We have started the winter cycle at the Children’s Circus! Excited to see all the happy and excited faces of the children inside the Circus facility. Lots of plans for dynamic activities with guest instructors and we also started our assistant instructor training program to train our graduate students interested in teaching the new generation! As every year we expect more than 150 children between the baby classes, youth classes and Saturday activities. After a summer of recharging energy and inspiration, we are all more than ready for what’s next. Welcome to all children, parents and community to the Circo family!
Social Program: Circus for All
Enjoying our third year with the external social circus project in which the Circo de los Niños team of teachers teaches introductory circus workshops to children and youth in San Ignacio. We are expanding our reach and sharing the magic of the circus with social circus activities to different neighboring towns. Thanks to our neighbors in San Ignacio for welcoming us to their Casa Clu!

The Madrugada Troupe invites you to the season premiere of its original creation: ¡La lotería del Circo! The Circus Lottery is a multidisciplinary, contemporary circus performance that fuses aerial techniques with object manipulation, dance, clowning, juggling, acrobatics, contortion and theater. We look forward to seeing you on November 5, 6 and 13, 2022 at 7:30 PM at Circo de los Niños. Suggested donation 100 MXN.

“Alebrije” Benefit Event
Commemorating 10 years of shows and a unique program for the community, the presentation of ALEBRIJE, a show full of colors and joy, was very emotional and inspiring for everyone in front and behind the curtain! To all who attended, to the “Atrapasueños” sponsors for their generous support and to the volunteers with their valuable contribution, thank you very much! The support generated by this March benefit is one of the most important events for the sustainability of the programs at Circo de los Niños.
Touring artists at Quebec Delegation of Mexico
We were honored to be invited by the Quebec Delegation in Mexico to participate in their celebration of Quebec National Day. In June, a group of 15 young artists from the school performed in Querétaro and Mexico City. We returned home full of motivation and also proud to be part of an international event joining cultural forces between Canada and Mexico. Thanks to those who made it possible for us to participate in this first national tour for Circo de los Niños!
Young creators receive a National Arts Grant
The troupe Madrugada was created with the intention of encouraging, promoting and guiding the artistic development of young people at a professional level. Thanks to this great work, the group is recognized with a national level support to perform in Mexico City this year! They will receive a scholarship from Maroma, Circo y Binomios Creativos. Congratulations to the young people and their teachers for this wonderful achievement!
